How the mighty have fallen. An act of stupidity that ended one of the greatest rugby league and the beginning of a great rugby union career. I think people forget how good Wendell Sailor used to be when he played rugby league. A unique combination of size, strength and explosiveness. A devasting ball runner and the king of broken field play. And now it's all gone, over a line of cocaine.
I only did it once!
I'm out like Wendell's career.

I know talking to those that are really into union, they don't think wendall's that great a player... not even in the same class as taquri in some regards... so i dunno
Have you read about how Darren Bennett is suggesting that he might get work in the NFL?
shame what drugs can do to a sports career. why do coke though, not like it's an enhancing substance (or maybe it was for the pressure). need to check up on mr wendal
as much as i love the sport entries, how about something for the non-sport girls! you're losing me dj!
Bosco - there was an article in SMH which said that statistically Wendell is much better than all the other wingers, in areas such as missed tackles, tackles made, line breaks, etc..
Obi - i don't think he did it to enhance his performance! it was just a stupid stupid action
